Passat is a research-oriented company specializing in the manufacture of compact turnkey nano and picosecond diode pumped solid-state lasers and related nonlinear optical components.

Passat’s UV picosecond lasers are intended for 100 - nm photo-mask repair, patterning of organic materials for PV solar cell batteries as well as for machining thick metals sheets, ceramics, plastics and resins with submicron accuracy. They are also used for remote sensing, precise ranging and high resolution 3D imaging. Passat nanosecond lasers are ideally suited for MALDI mass spectrometer applications.
